Plus we bought a Ninja Coffee Bar and we are OBSESSED. ![]() Ever since making my own cold brew, there is no need to head to the coffee shop each morning. Since my days of working the line at Starbucks are long gone, I am forced to get creative in the mornings with my coffee. Other creations were chocolate raspberry chip frappuccino (raspberry syrup + mocha syrup + chocolate chips). I even made a skinny version for the blog! Strawberries ‘n Creme Frappuccino with toffee nut syrup. One of my favorites to this day is the Captain Crunch Frappuccino. More than likely though, you will come out with a java cup just as delicious! But the only sad thing is, not every barista knows of certain drinks or may have a different spin on them. These crazy concoctions are drinks that aren’t found on the menu, rather can be found in the mind of every barista that is behind that counter. In case you haven’t heard of Starbucks secret menu, search it and start craving. The crazy drink concoctions that we dreamed up. The best thing about working at a coffee house was the creativity that flowed. But at least coffee helped them on their way to becoming enjoyable at 6am.īut, let’s be real. Free coffee plus I got to chat with other people that loved coffee. I have always been an early bird, so it seemed like a good fit to work at a coffee shop. Yes, that meant being there at 5am and waking when your college buddies are just hitting the hay, ending their evenings and not waking until I had an entire 8-hour shift under my belt. I was one of the weirdo’s that would ask for the opening shift. Nevermind that aspect…I am thinking more of those early shifts. What would you say would be your top pick?
